Artificial Intelligence and Auto-Classification: Are They a Silver Bullet for Records Management and Compliance?

Presented by Amitabh Srivastav on January 26, 2020

The challenge of correctly classifying unstructured content in a consistent and repeatable manner for records and information management is a “pain point” that information governance (IG) professionals encounter every day. This “pain point” is increasing significantly as the volume of unstructured content created increases. Advances in artificial intelligence hold the promise of automating business processes that can significantly improve operational excellence and reduce organizational risk.  Today’s advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning offer exciting solutions for IG professionals.  Content can be classified correctly.  Retention schedules can be applied correctly.  Disposition procedures run on time and correctly.  All with a high degree of accuracy. Amitabh will discuss current trends in AI for records management and attendees will learn how AI can improve the efficiency and efficacy of auto-classification with a focus on compliance, records and risk management. Amitabh will then discuss and present HELUX’s THEMIS CS product suite’s AI capabilities for auto-classification and Information Architecture to improve Records Management.
